In a scene straight out of a science fiction movie, a farmer in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh has become the talk of the town—and the internet—after discovering an unidentifiable creature in his sugarcane field on Saturday morning.
The creature, described as having “glowing eyes, translucent skin, and a humanoid shape”, has baffled villagers and sparked a flurry of speculation, with many locals insisting it’s an extraterrestrial being. The discovery was made by Ramesh Yadav, who initially thought the figure was a doll or dead animal, until it moved slightly.
“I’ve never seen anything like it. Its body was soft and had no fur or feathers. And those glowing eyes… we were scared,” Yadav told local media.

As photos and videos of the creature went viral across WhatsApp and Instagram, experts from Banaras Hindu University were called in to examine the specimen. Their early analysis suggests that the animal might be a malformed fetus of a goat or calf, born prematurely with genetic anomalies.
Veterinary pathologist Dr. Neeraj Sharma said,
“The features match those seen in cases of congenital malformations. While it may appear alien, this is more likely a tragic natural mutation.”
However, villagers remain skeptical. One man claimed his mobile network stopped working near the field, and another reported seeing “a flash in the sky” the night before.

As crowds gathered around the Yadav family’s land, local police arrived to manage the situation and prevent tampering with the creature, which has now been preserved in a sealed container. Officials urged people to avoid spreading misinformation.
Sub-Inspector Alok Pandey stated,
“We request citizens to stop circulating fake alien theories. It is likely a case of animal deformity, and proper analysis is underway.”
